Read this first: MemeSwap's $PLAYDEAD isn't live yet. Any contract address before Fri 9:00 AM CT isn't ours, and the only real one is posted by @memeswapdotfun. Nobody from MemeSwap will ever DM you a contract address, presale or whitelist.
$PLAYDEAD is the first public Aura Farm on the MemeSwap Launchpad, on Solana, Friday, October 23, 2026. The whole launch window is two minutes, 9:00 to 9:02 AM CT (14:00 UTC), so it helps to know exactly what happens when. Here is Friday morning, step by step.
Before Friday: get set up
Joining is iPhone-app only, through the MemeSwap app on the US App Store (18+). On a computer you can only follow along. Get the app, update it before Friday, and fund your wallet with SOL on Solana, by card in the app or sent from an exchange, up to $500 plus a little for network costs. Add the official calendar file from the $PLAYDEAD page on the MemeSwap website so your alarms are set.
One hour before: your first alarm
The official calendar file sets an alarm one hour before the window. Use it to update the app if you haven't, check your SOL balance, and turn on launch reminders in the app's notification settings. Nobody can buy before 9:00, so there is nothing to rush. There is no presale, no airdrop and no early access.
Ten minutes before: your second alarm
Open the MemeSwap app and go to the Launchpad. Ignore any $PLAYDEAD contract address, chart or "early buy" link you see before 9:00. None of them are ours.
9:00 AM CT: the Aura Farm opens
The window opens for everyone at the same moment. In the app, open the Launchpad, pick $PLAYDEAD and join before 9:02. Everyone pays the same price, set when the window closes, capped at $500 per person, one cap per verified iPhone. Anything over the cap is never charged. The creator joins in the same window under the same cap, and there are no team tokens. At 9:00 the official contract address is posted in exactly two places: the official $PLAYDEAD page on the MemeSwap website and @memeswapdotfun on X.
9:02 AM CT: the window closes
The price is set, tokens are delivered, and live trading opens inside MemeSwap. A buy that lands after 9:02 is refunded in full. Quick flips right after the window are discouraged by design, so read the in-app details before you sell.
After 9:02: MemeSwap only, until Graduation
Until Graduation, $PLAYDEAD trades only inside MemeSwap and transfers are locked. A $PLAYDEAD pool on any other platform before then is fake. Graduation happens once enough has been raised on the MemeSwap curve; then it moves to a public pool on Solana and also becomes tradable on Jupiter, Phantom and the Coinbase app. Graduation is a mechanic, not a promise, and it may not happen.
Why it works this way
One price, a cap per person, no team tokens and no buying before 9:00 make a launch built to keep snipers out. It is part of MemeSwap's effort to make meme coin trading a little safer for regular traders.
