$PLAYDEAD opens on the MemeSwap Launchpad this Friday, October 23, 2026, with a two-minute Aura Farm from 9:00 to 9:02 AM CT. Most of the attention goes to those two minutes. This guide covers what happens after them: the stretch where $PLAYDEAD trades only inside MemeSwap, and Graduation, the point where it can move to the wider Solana market.
Stage 1: the Aura Farm (9:00 to 9:02 AM CT)
Buying happens only in the MemeSwap iPhone app. Nobody can buy before 9:00, and there's no presale, airdrop or whitelist. Everyone in the window pays the same price, set when the window closes, with a cap of $500 per person and one cap per verified iPhone. A buy that lands after 9:02 is refunded in full.
Stage 2: live trading inside MemeSwap
At 9:02 the price is set, tokens are delivered and live trading opens inside MemeSwap. From then until Graduation, $PLAYDEAD trades only inside MemeSwap and transfers are locked.
That has one practical consequence worth remembering: any $PLAYDEAD pool you see anywhere else before Graduation is fake. If a DEX screener, a Telegram group or an X reply shows you a $PLAYDEAD chart on another venue before Graduation, it isn't the MemeSwap token.
Quick flips right after the window are discouraged by design, so read the in-app details before you buy.
Stage 3: Graduation
Once enough has been raised on the MemeSwap curve, $PLAYDEAD moves to a public pool on Solana. After that it can also be traded on Jupiter, Phantom and the Coinbase app, as well as in MemeSwap.
The amount that counts as "enough" isn't published, so be wary of anyone quoting a number.
Graduation may not happen
Graduation is a mechanic, not a promise, and it may not happen. If it doesn't, $PLAYDEAD stays inside MemeSwap. Don't buy on the assumption that it will reach the wider market, and don't treat Graduation as a sign that a token is safe. It only means the token moved to a public pool.
Why it's built this way
Most launchpads open trading everywhere the second a token exists, which is when snipers and bundled wallets grab supply before regular traders can react. MemeSwap's launchpad keeps the opening inside one app, with one price and one capped buy per verified iPhone, and keeps trading there until Graduation. It's built to keep snipers out and give regular traders an equal shot at the start. It doesn't make a meme coin safe.
